Market Street Partners Unveils MSP Capital
MSP Capital, led by Kevin Rose, Kyle Bryant, and James Purgason, specializes in mergers, acquisitions, and business succession planning.
Three leaders at Market Street Partners, PLLC, a Chattanooga-based accounting firm, have launched MSP Capital, a standalone company specializing in mergers, acquisitions, and business succession planning. Kyle Bryant and Kevin Rose, founding partners at Market Street Partners, along with James Purgason, a firm principal, will lead the new venture, which they refer to as a “natural extension” of their work at Market Street Partners.
“Thanks to the CPA work we perform at Market Street Partners, we have a detailed view of many trends taking place across our business community,” said Mr. Bryant. “And one of the most glaring trends we’ve seen over the past few years is a generational leadership shift. Not only are younger professionals advancing upward into vacated positions as the baby boomer generation exits the workforce, but many seasoned business leaders are also trying to decide who can assume ownership stakes in businesses they’ve led.”
Bryant, Rose, and Purgason say that they’ve already teamed with multiple Market Street Partners clients to guide them through merger and acquisition processes and that those opportunities have emerged organically from the accounting and tax services they’ve provided.
“Some business opportunities present themselves seamlessly, and this is a perfect example of such a scenario,” said Mr. Purgason. “MSP Capital is a natural extension of our work at Market Street Partners and I am excited to further leverage our efforts in this regard by launching MSP Capital. Founded in 2016 by Kyle Bryant and Kevin Rose, Market Street Partners, PLLC, now has offices in Athens, Georgia, in addition to its firm headquarters in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee. MSP Capital’s service offerings will be available wherever Market Street Partners has a presence.
